ABOUT JEFF: Meet the Person Behind the Presentation

Jeff Gulle (pronounced "gulley") has worked directly and shared the stage with noted authors and educational speakers Harry and Rosemary Wong.   He had artifacts published in the most recent edition of the Wongs’ The  First  Days  of School  and  was  a contributing author to their more recent work, THE Classroom Management Book.

Jeff continues to teach seventh-grade social studies.   He holds a Master of Arts in Social Studies Education and is a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT).  He has been selected by a combination of students and colleagues as his school’s content area Teacher of the Year, and a few years ago his local community voted to bestow Walmart’s Teacher of the Year award upon him.  He was selected by his superintendent as the recipient of an Excellence in Teaching Award.  He has also been named by the University of Kentucky as A Teacher Who Made A Difference, having been nominated as such by a former student who wrote that he became a social studies teacher because of the impact that Jeff had had on him.

When not teaching (in his classroom or elsewhere) and not on the road for speaking engagements, Jeff enjoys reading, writing (look for his first book in the next year or so!), and visiting museums and historic sites.  He and his wife live in Kentucky, although he is a native New Yorker.
